Nine Effects of God's Word

• The Word of God produces faith. (Rom 10:17)
• It is the seed of the new birth. (James 1:18, 1Pet 1:22-23)
• It provides spiritual nourishment. (1Pet 2:2, Matt 4:4, Heb 5:12, 13-14)
• It produces mental illumination. (Psalms 119:130)
• It provides physical healing. (Psalms 107: 17, 18-20, Proverbs 4:20-22)
• It makes victory over sin and Satan possible. (Psalms 119:9, 11, Psalms 17:4)
• It provides cleansing and holiness. (Eph 5:25-27)
• It is a spiritual mirror. (James 1:21-25)
• It is our ultimate judge. (John 12:47-48)
