LOVE OF GOD

The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Psalm 145:8

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

As a bridgegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. Isaiah 62:5

Jesus said, “The Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.” John 16:27

From everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children. Psalm 103:17

The LORD declares, “I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.” Hosea 2:19-20

Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5
