Seven Spiritual Laws for Answered Prayer

Introduction: What is Prayer?

Prayer is an effort to lay hold of God Himself, the Author of life, and when we have found Him who is the source of life and have entered into communion with Him, then the whole of life is ours and with Him all that will make life is perfect.

We cannot alter the will of God, but the man of prayer can discover the will of God with regard to himself. For to men of this kind God makes Himself manifest in the hidden chamber of the heart, and holds communion with them; and when His gracious purposes are shown to be for their good, then the doubts and difficulties of which they complain pass away for ever.

Major Points

  1. You Must Ask: Luke 11:9, Matt 7:7
  2. You must ask in faith: Matt 17:20, Mark 11:23
  3. You must ask in faith, nothing wavering: James1: 1-8
  4. You must be in full agreement with another: Matt 18:19-20
  5. You must ask the Father in Jesus name: John 14:13-14, 15:16, 16:23-24, Luke 15:10

  7. You must agree in line with the will of God: John 10:10, 3:36, 1 John 5:14-15, Mark 11:24

Conclusion

The spiritual principles and laws of prayer listed above are keys to receiving answers to prayer. However, if you pray without the anticipation that the answer is coming, you may lose the joy of expectation, which is the breeding ground for the answer you are waiting for!
