Objective of Assembling in the Church

  1. Praise: To praise and worship the King.
  2. Learn: To Learn from His word: The Bible.
  3. Give: To honor and respect the King.

Understanding the 3 Phases of Your Visitation

  1. 1.Before Going to Church

Prepare your heart to receive His best. An unprepared heart can receive nothing from God.

Preparation requires reading His word, personal worship and intercession for the church service.

Good example is in the Book of Acts.

Acts 1 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

  1. 2.In the Church
    1. Arrive before time so you are prepared to receive the King, not the King waiting on you.
    2. Dress your best, impress the King, and wear nice appropriate clothes.
    3. Please the King, don’t murmur and complain, don’t act self-centered, act King centered.
    4. Give your best, bring the best gift for the King, and don’t come empty handed.
    5. Respect the King, don’t be chewing gum, eating, talking, sleeping, and drinking coffee. Please turn off your cell phone or keep it on vibration. Keep an eye on your kids.
  1. 3.After the Church

Greet all your brethren and show them your love. Encourage them in the Lord and ask if you may be of any assistance to them. Greet every non-believer as a friend, the lighter the conversation, the better. Watch your tongue.

Once you reach home, before you eat, thank God for His many blessing and give Him all the glory, honor and worship. Tell God how much you love and appreciate Him and His presence.

Hosea 4:6 (NIV)

my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

Proverbs 3:9 (The Message)
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.

Psalm 24:1 (NIV)

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it
……

Haggai 2:8 (NIV)

The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

Psalm 50:10-11 (NIV)

10 for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.

Conclusion

The sole purpose of a Christian is to please the King by his love and service. Always remember a happy King means happy people. Win the King’s favor and He will say exactly like Herod said to His daughter in:

Mark 6 (NIV) 21 Finally the opportune time came. On his birthday Herod gave a banquet for his high officials and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee. 22 When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests.

The king said to the girl, “Ask me for anything you want, and I’ll give it to you.” 23 And he promised her with an oath, “Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.
