Have Childlike Faith

And said, Verily I [Jesus] say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 18:3)

At a meeting in Oklahoma, a gentleman came up to me and said that he was so hard of hearing that he couldn't hear it thunder without a hearing aid. Well, I laid hands on him and his ears were perfectly healed; he could hear.

I saw him five years later when he was seventy-seven years old, and he still didn't need a hearing aid. I saw him after another five years (when he was eighty-two years old), and he was still all right.

Not only that, but when I laid hands on him at the age of seventy-two, he could not walk by himself. He'd had a cane that he walked with, but he couldn't even walk with the cane anymore. He couldn't walk twelve or fifteen feet without falling.

His daughter, who was with him, had to hold him up. The doctor said he should be in a wheelchair. The doctor told him at his last examination that he would go from his cane to a wheelchair, from a wheelchair to the bed, and from the bed to the grave. There was nothing medical science could do.

We laid hands on him in the Name of Jesus and believed God. He believed God too. We took the cane away from him, and he walked a steady, straight line.

At the age of eighty-two, he was still walking without a cane. I remember that when I dealt with him, it was almost like dealing with a child in that he believed everything I told him. We all need to have that kind of childlike faith.

Confession:
I believe what God's Word says. I am quick to believe God's Word. If God said it, I believe it, and that settles it!
