CONFIDENCE

The LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. Proverbs 3:26

We say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. Psalm 27:3

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14

We know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 1 John 4:16-17

Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:4-5

Dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. 1 John 2:28

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
