My soul is among lions

Aatish mizaaj aur sheron ke hoon darmiyan

I lie among the sons of men who are set on fire

Talwar jaisi zubaan daant hain barchiyan

Whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword

Tu apni rehmat aur sachaai kar de bayaan

God shall send forth His mercy and His truth

Dil ab hai tera tere geet main gaaonga

Ab saari duniya ko yeh baat batlaoonga

I will sing to You among nations
